Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is one of the toughest reality TV shows around, but year after year stars continue to queue up to take part.

This year's edition is said to have been filmed in New Zealand in 2023, with the likes of Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo, actor John Barrowman, and model Bianca Gascoigne, daughter of England football legend Paul Gascoigne, all expected to take part in the sixth series later in the year.

However, there has already been speculation on the best UK betting sites about who might join them, or appear in the seventh season of the show.

Troy's Set To Test Himself In Ultimate Challenge

There has been at least one footballer in the first five series of Celebrity SAS so far, with Jermaine Pennant, Kieron Dyer, and Wayne Bridge all testing themselves to their limits.

Last year, Jermaine had to be medically withdrawn from the latest fifth series, which saw the celebrity recruits put through the most punishing stages of SAS selection by Chief Instructor Billy Billingham and his team of Directing Staff (DS), Foxy (Jason Fox), Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver, in one of the most unforgiving jungles in the world, in Thung Ui, North Vietnam.

Wayne was the only star to pass the selection process in the first series, and he remains the only footballer to do so in the star-studded series.

Fellow former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney will no doubt be looking to become the second soccer star to achieve such a goal.

He is just 2/5 on specials betting sites to take part in the show after he was heavily linked to the programme.

A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: "Footballers' competitive streak seems to lend itself to taking part. Troy is likely to discuss some of the most upsetting elements of his life in the interrogation room with the instructors."

From S Club To SAS Club

According to the publication, another two stars who are expected to take part in the celebrity show are S Club singer Hannah Spearritt (1/2), and infamous Peru Two jailbird Michaella McCollum (8/11).

Both are short prices on betting apps to test themselves in an upcoming series, where celebrities are also grilled about their personal lives.

Hannah suffered some heartache last year when her ex-boyfriend and fellow S Club band member Paul Cattermole was found dead aged 46.

Michaella became known as one half of the "Peru Two" - alongside Melissa Reid - when the pair were arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima, Peru, in August 2013 after their luggage was found to contain 12kg of cocaine.

They were sentenced to six years and eight months' in prison, but Michaella has since turned her life around and graduated from the University of Ulster with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management, Marketing and Related Support Services last year.

He Who Dares Wins

Thomas Skinner is used to channelling his inner Del Boy - known for his "he who dares, wins" catchphrase - when he is trading in the markets, but will he have what it takes for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins?

The former Apprentice star is just 2/1 to swap the hustle and bustle of the markets for an even more intense environment, while rapper and singer Lady Leshurr is 5/2, former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas is 3/1, and ex-Hollyoaks star Richard Blackwood is a 4/1 chance on new betting sites

Celebrity SAS has featured a sprinkling of former Love Island contestants since it began, with Teddy Soares and Montana Brown both put through their paces in last year's series.

If you have any free bet offers available to use, then former Islanders Chloe Burrows (9/2) and Luca Bish (5/1) could be the latest villa veterans to show what they've got.

One person who knows all about gruelling tests is "the Hardest Geezer" Russ Cook, who became a media sensation earlier this year when he completed his epic 352-day run across the whole length of Africa, running more than 10,000 miles in the process.

Russ is 6/1 for a Celebrity SAS stint, but he could be one of the only stars who might not see it as much of an endurance test.
