Simon Cowell recently admitted he would not "replace" Bruno Tonioli on Britain's Got Talent after two "brilliant" years of the former Strictly Come Dancing judge.

However, recent reports have suggested there are discussions ongoing with ITV bosses about whether Bruno will return for next year's series.

An ITV insider told The Sun newspaper: "Nobody else has been agreed upon or approached as a replacement. Currently the question is 'do we keep Bruno at all?' There is much discussion going on."

This has sparked speculation on betting sites about whether Bruno will remain on the panel or not, and what he will go on to do afterwards if he exits BGT.

Bruno To Go?

With rumours rife about a potential BGT judging change, Bruno is 4/6 on Britain's Got Talent betting sites to leave the show.

However, he is said to be "much loved" by ITV, and his fellow judges Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

Another TV insider told the publication: "This year's BGT was a runaway hit and Bruno played a big part in that. He is much loved by the audience, the acts, his fellow judges, ITV and Thames alike."

It's no secret that Simon is a big fan of the prolific Golden Buzzer presser.

Speaking recently on Heart Breakfast - which is co-hosted by Amanda - he said: "I spoke to the producers literally two weeks ago about a scheduling issue with Bruno.

"Because we're doing the auditions...some of the auditions are this year, and he's going to be in America. So maybe there'll be a stand-in for him. I don't know. But I love Bruno on the show. I think he's brilliant. I would not replace him. He's coming back."

Bruno is 6/4 to return to the panel next year, and we should find out the answer soon for those looking to put their free bets to use.

An ITV spokeswoman said: "Any plans for Britain’s Got -Talent 2025 will be announced in due course."

Bruno's One-Man Show

If Bruno does depart BGT then he might be looking for something else to do in the UK?

The former Strictly Come Dancing panellist is still a judge on the US version, Dancing With the Stars, but his return to primetime TV in the UK may have reminded others of his abilities.

He is 2/1 on specials betting sites to land his own one-man show if he exits Britain's Got Talent, while it is just 5/2 that energetic Bruno goes on to host his own podcast.

While he is au fait with the small screen, Bruno hasn't appeared on the big screen too often, with his last movie outing coming via a cameo in 2016 comedy Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.

The star is 3/1 to appear in a film next, and 4/1 to be tempted onto this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, which is co-hosted by BGT presenters Ant and Dec.

What's more, Bruno is 8/1 for a Strictly comeback - but that looks unlikely with Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke currently forming a settled panel - and he is a massive 20/1 to be the UK's next Eurovision Song Contest entry at some new betting sites.

His group, Duke and the Aces, attempted to represent the UK at Eurovision 1980, but they finished seventh on internal UK selection show A Song For Europe, which was won by Prima Donna.

KSI To Step In?

While Bruno looks unlikely to be back on Strictly anytime soon, if he does return to Britain's Got Talent next year he may miss some auditions.

Simon has confirmed that at least some of the next set of BGT auditions will be held earlier, which has presented producers with a "scheduling issue" regarding Bruno, due to his Dancing With the Stars commitments.

There has been recent speculation about who might replace, or stand in for, Bruno on the panel.

YouTube sensation and boxer KSI is the 4/7 favourite on betting apps, followed by comedian Alan Carr at 6/4.

The Chatty Man host was heavily linked with the job of replacing former BGT judge David Walliams before Bruno filled the seat last year, and there has been fresh speculation that he could step in for the ex-Strictly star.

But Simon recently confirmed he is yet to have approached Alan. Asked on Heart whether he had or not, he said: "No, Amanda wants Alan."

But Amanda joked she doesn't have much of a say about who joins the panel.

Others in contention include BGT winner Ashley Banjo (2/1), who triumphed on the ITV talent show with his dance troupe Diversity in 2009, and America's Got Talent panellist Heidi Klum (5/2).
