US Open Predictions: The Panel's 4 Selections From Day 4 At Flushing Meadows

It's day four of the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York and The Panel have four tips from the final grand slam of the year, where Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff are the defending champions.

US Open Betting Tips: Alcaraz To Waste Little Time

In his first round win, Carlos Alcaraz put on an impressive performance against an in-form Li Tu, winning 6-2 4-6 6-3 6-1 and The Panel expect the Spaniard to comfortably beat Botic van de Zandschulp, who has struggled for form this year.

Alcaraz is a clear winner in this match, with the best betting sites pricing him at 1/100. The Panel are backing the match to go under 26.5 games at Evens with BoyleSports

Carlos Alcaraz & Botic Van De Zandschulp Under 26.5 Games - 6/5 With BoyleSports

US Open Tennis Tips: Navone To End Evans' Hopes

Dan Evans’ first-round showdown with Karen Khachanov has been one of the stories of the US Open so far. The two men put on an absolute war in New York, with Evans winning the longest match in US Open history

While Evans, who The Panel tipped to win his first round match at 10/3, is undoubtedly talented, it’s hard to imagine a world where a five-hour, 35-minute match does not take its toll on an athlete, especially a 34-year-old one.

Navone, on the other hand, will feel confident he can exploit his opponent’s potential fatigue. He is great at wearing his opponents down, and the Argentine will hope to do exactly that against his more experienced opponent.

Most betting apps see this match as a close call. The Panel believe that Navone presents real value here at 19/20 with SpreadEx

US Open Tennis Odds: Goffin To Win With Minimum Fuss

Belgian David Goffin will fancy his chances of securing a spot in the third round when he faces an out-of-form Adrian Mannarino.

While Mannarino booked his spot in the second round with a straight-sets win in his opener against Borna Coric, he did not look very convincing. Prior to the tournament, he had registered just two wins in his last 20 matches.

Goffin, by contrast, will feel full of confidence after reaching the semi-finals of the Winston-Salem Open just two weeks ago.

Goffin is the favourite at 2/5 on tennis betting sites, but The Panel believe he can go one better here and secure a comprehensive win against an out-of-sorts Mannarino.

US Open Tennis Prediction: Sinner To Come Good

Jannik Sinner and Alex Michelsen will square off for the second time this month when they headline the Arthur Ashe Stadium later today.

The two men recently clashed in the Cincinnati Open, with Sinner dispatching his opponent 6-4 7-5.

Michelsen has talked a big game ahead of the rematch, but it is difficult to see past a Sinner win here, with new betting sites backing the world number one at around 1/20

The match will test Sinner’s performance under pressure, with the home crowd firmly behind Michelsen, but The Panel expect Sinner to turn things up a gear.

The handicap markets present value here, and we are backing Sinner to cover the -8.5 at Evens with William Hill

The Italian covered this in his last match, and we anticipate another dominant display at Flushing Meadows on Thursday.

The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 4: Jannik Sinner -8.5 To Beat Alex Michelsen - Evens With William Hill
