Carlos Alcaraz Vs Tommy Paul Prediction
Alcaraz’s title defence has proven hard work so far. He was in danger of bowing out in round three against Frances Tiafoe and had to hold off a Ugo Humbert fightback in his last outing.
The Spaniard has shown moments of weakness at these championships and will need to be far more solid to see off Paul, who is bristling with confidence.
The American won Queen’s in the build-up to Wimbledon and has dominated his last two opponents, Alexander Bublik and Roberto Bautista Agut, beating both in straight sets.
Paul has given Alcaraz problems in the past and their head-to-head record is currently split at 2-2.
Paul has adapted his game to be more dangerous on grass, coming to the net and playing aggressively. Alcaraz has the skillset to overcome the American, but this is a closer match than the odds suggest.
Tennis betting sites make Paul a 3/1 outsider. That’s a big price for a player in form like Paul who has a decent record against Alcaraz.

Jannik Sinner Vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction
Tuesday’s other men's quarter-final has been priced similarly to Paul vs Alcaraz, with Medvedev a 7/2 outsider to reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon for the second year running.
The Russian got a lucky break in his fourth-round match with Grigor Dimitrov who had to retire after just eight games, so he should be fresh for this one.
Medvedev holds a 6-5 advantage over Sinner in the head-to-head, but has lost the last five meetings between the pair as the Italian has blossomed.
One of those Sinner wins came in this year's Australian Open final, when Medvedev blew a 2-0 lead and handed the world number one his first grand slam title.
Sinner is looking good for slam number two and is yet to taste defeat on grass this year, while he’s moved through the gears as he’s progressed through the rounds at Wimbledon, brushing aside Ben Shelton last time out.
It’s hard to see the world number one slipping up, but Medvedev is the world number five for good reason and has shown his mettle in key moments on the road to the quarters.
Three of the last four matches between the pair have gone to a deciding set and that makes over 38.5 games in this best-of-five format an interesting option for The Panel.

Jasmine Paolini Vs Emma Navarro Prediction
Emma Navarro’s odds to win Wimbledon contracted sharply after upsetting Coco Gauff in round four, going from 30/1 outsider to 4/1 second favourite on betting apps.
The American was a worthy winner over Gauff in straight sets - her 33rd tour-level win of the year - and her form on grass has steadily improved.
But the same could be said of French Open runner-up Jasmine Paolini, who had never previously been beyond the first round at the All England Club.
The scrappy Italian is in the form of her life though and playing with plenty of confidence, impressively seeing off Bianca Andreescu in round three before Madison Keys withdrew from her match with Paolini at 1-1.
This is not a match Paolini will relish having lost all three previous meetings with Navarro, two of which were this year, but she’s playing much better now than the last time she lost a three-set battle to the American in Miami.
Navarro’s all-court game will ask plenty of questions of Paolini but the world number seven should have more than a few answers in a contest that sets up to feature plenty of long rallies.
The winner of this contest will face either Donna Vekic or qualifier Lulu Sun in the semi-finals, a winnable match for both Navarro and Paolini.
With a path to the final becoming clear, neither woman will want to let this opportunity slip and The Panel foresee a close encounter, favouring Paolini on the handicap.
