Washington Mystics vs Dallas Wings (O/U 172.5, Wings -5)

The Dallas Wings have been up and down since their return from the Olympics, losing three straight before winning three in a row. After a tough loss to Indiana, Dallas is 9-23 and still two games out of a place in the playoffs that are less than three weeks away.

Washington is slightly better on the road at 5-11. Since their disastrous 0-12 start the Mystics are 9-11. The Mystics have scored more points but still give up 83.4 points per contest, while their offense is scoring close to 79 a game.

Since the Olympic break, Dallas has scored 90+ points in five of their seven games, with the teams combining for 175+ points. Take the Over on basketball betting sites.

The Panel Pick 1: Dallas Wings & Washington Mystics Over 172.5 Points DraftKings -112

Our WNBA Picks For Tuesday, September 3

Chicago Sky vs Las Vegas Aces (O/U 164.5, Aces -12)

Las Vegas beat Atlanta by 11 points and then won in Phoenix by 19 points. They now face a Chicago Sky team that is struggling, losing seven of their last eight since the Olympic break.

The Over has been set at around 165, which could be lowered based on Chicago’s lack of pace. The Under stands at 165.5 on FanDuel, which The Panel likes.

Las Vegas likes a higher tempo and that can open things up. While everyone focuses on Angel Reese of Chicago, Kamilla Cardoso is a threat, shooting 51.5% from the field. When the power forward asserts herself, points and rebounds could come in bunches.

This is one of those player props that are under the radar. Cardoso doesn't play like a rookie, and the Sky needs to feed her the ball often. Reese’s game has broken down since the Olympics and a double/double for Cardoso is on the cards here.

The Panel Pick 3: Kamilla Cardoso Double Double For Chicago - FanDuel +210

Atlanta Dream vs Phoenix Mercury (O/U 160, Mercury -1.5)

The Atlanta Dream and Phoenix Mercury are 4-6 over their last 10 games. The Mercury will be without Natasha Cloud after picking up her seventh technical on Sunday and will have to sit out one game.

The Mercury, who are not at full strength, avoided a similar fate when Diana Taurasi had her seventh technical rescinded. Phoenix has lost three straight games and five out of its previous six.

Their one win was a narrow two-point victory over Atlanta. Without their most active guard, Phoenix could have a bit of trouble scoring.

Britney Griner is +280 with online betting sites to get the first basket. Another consideration is Under of 81.5 for first half points at Evens

The first of the two meetings in Atlanta could be repeated, which produced 60 combined points before half-time. Taking everything into consideration, we're expecting a defensively-oriented first half.

A defensive struggle might be better suited for Atlanta on the road, as they seek the win they desperately need.

The Panel Pick 3: Atlanta Dream To Win On The Moneyline - Caesars +115
