Liverpool to Win

Although Arsenal is 29 points ahead of Liverpool, recent history between these two and the Reds’ record at Anfield this season points towards another win for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Arsenal's last win at Anfield was 11 years ago and the Gunners have beaten Liverpool only seven times in the 26 games since. Of course, things are very different this year with Arsenal top of the table, but after the 7-0 win over Manchester United and a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Anfield, we think Liverpool will win at home again.

Mohamed Salah to Score

Although this is the first time since joining Liverpool in 2017 that Mohamed Salah has not been involved in the top scorer race, he has still scored 23 goals in all competitions and he needs only eight more to make this his second-highest scoring season with the Reds.

The majority of these goals have come at Anfield and he also scored against Man City last weekend. What’s more, Salah has netted eight goals in his 14 games against Arsenal and scored against it in the last Premier League meeting between the two at Anfield.

If Liverpool is going to win, Salah likely has a say in it.

Over 2.5 Goals in the Game

Arsenal has scored 70 goals this season and let in just 27 and although Liverpool is in eighth, it has still scored 48 goals and conceded 33. That's 178 goal involvements for the two already this Premier League season and five of those goals came in the reverse fixture at Arsenal.

In fact, in the 20 Premier League games since Arsenal last won at Anfield, only four of those 20 matches have seen less than 2.5 goals.

Simply put, goals in abundance are almost certain whenever these two meet. At the same time, Liverpool’s defense continues to look weak and it would be quite surprising if we didn’t see at least three goals in this game.
