The NFL MVP odds above indicate the likelihood of an individual player to be named the Most Valuable Player for the season. NFL MVP odds fluctuate throughout the season based on players' performances, injuries, and other factors.  

These odds are presented in the moneyline format. 

Negative odds indicate the favorite(s) to win the NFL MVP award. If a player's odds were -150, for example, you would need to bet $150 to win $100. The lower the number, the more heavily favored that player is to win.

Positive odds indicate the underdogs to win the award. If a player's odds were +600 and you bet $100 on that player, you would win $600 if they won.

Hall of Fame Peyton Manning has won NFL MVP a record five times, with Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (4) close behind. Manning is the only multi-time winner to be named NFL MVP with more than one team (Colts and Broncos).

Rodgers, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (2), and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson are the only three players who have won MVP in the last 24 years who are still actively playing. In fact, it's been seven years since a player not named Rodgers, Mahomes or Jackson has won MVP (Tom Brady in 2017).

• All but four MVP winners since 2000 have been quarterbacks. The other four were running backs. 
• Quarterback is the most commonly awarded position with 47 trophies since 1957. Since 2013, NFL MVP has been an exclusively "QB" award.
• Running backs, fullbacks, and halfbacks have the next highest combined total (19).
• A wide receiver has never won NFL MVP in the nearly 70-year history of the award. No, not even Jerry Rice.
• Only 11 players have won NFL MVP and the Super Bowl in the same season, including Mahomes in Super Bowl LVII. Seven of those players were also named Super Bowl MVP.
