What started as BritainBet has changed into the Betrino brand. Betrino is still owned by Progress Play, who opted for the rebrand in 2023 despite encouraging results in its first three years.
The betting site earned recognition for its innovative approach and even though the name has been altered, Betrino offers a range of impressive promotions for new and existing customers.
It is not quite as refined as established online bookmakers, but I found there was plenty to like during my Betrino review.

Betrino’s in-play betting site is basic compared to many of its competitors. It does have a good sampling of sports and markets available for customers to bet on, including several Esports leagues and competitions. Valorant, Dota 2 and Counter Strike are among the options.
Football is widely covered as you would expect, but the level of detail is worth noting as Betrino goes beyond the traditional leagues and competitions to offer in-play betting on matches around the world.
There are useful graphics on hand to support your bets along with in-game statistics.
Unfortunately, Betrino does not offer live streaming for any sport. Hopefully this can be resolved in the future to allow it to compete with the best sites for live streaming. However, one feature that is available for live betting is cash out that can be used for betting on 20 sports.

Betrino Mobile Betting Review
When I look at betting apps, I use my iPhone, unfortunately for this Betrino app review, there was no iOS app available.
It’s rare for an operator not to have an app for Apple users, but I was able to still use Betrino’s mobile betting site through a browser. I found the experience to be average at best. The layout and aesthetics are not the cleanest on a mobile.
Navigating around the site was tough, while I also had issues with speed and placing bets.
Betrino does have an Android app, but after reading comments on the Google Play Store, I found that users have the same issues there too. It earned a score of 2.9 out of five, so it has some way to go to match more established brands in the mobile betting field.
