Premier League Sack Race Odds: Who Will Be The Next Manager To Go?
International breaks are often a time where Premier League clubs make a change in the dugout and the betting sites are still offering a market on the sack race.
Top-flight owners have been less trigger-happy than usual this season.
There have only been three sackings up to now - Paul Heckingbottom at Sheffield United, Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest, and Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace (the latter technically resigned).

Premier League Sack Race Odds
Kompany Favourite But Burnley Keep Faith Up To Now
Vincent Kompany did an excellent job in his first full season in charge of Burnley, guiding them to promotion from the Championship and amassing more than 100 points.
But the Clarets have underwhelmed throughout 2023/24, to the extent that they have never been outside the relegation zone.
Burnley did keep their slim survival hopes alive, beating Brentford 2-1.
Meanwhile, a points deduction for Nottingham Forest has plunged them into the relegation zone.
Burnley are still five points adrift of safety, though, and Kompany is duly the 7/4 favourite with football betting sites to be the next top-flight manager out of work.
Wilder Has Failed To Make His Mark At Sheffield United
Chris Wilder returned for a second spell at Sheffield United in December after the club called time on Heckingbottom’s tenure.
Unfortunately for the Blades, Wilder has not been able to bring about an upturn in results and United are surely doomed to an instant return to the Championship.
The fault for that arguably lies with the owners, who did not equip United with the sort of Premier League-standard squad that would have given them a fighting chance.
The manager is usually the figure who pays the ultimate price, however, and betting apps offer 11/2 on Wilder being handed his P45 before the conclusion of the campaign.
Jury Still Out On Both Pochettino And Ten Hag
For one reason or another, Chelsea fans have not yet taken to Mauricio Pochettino.
The fact he has never won a trophy in England does not help, nor do his associations with rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Unless he wins the FA Cup, Pochettino could be under pressure in the summer.
Yet it is hard to see Chelsea sacking him before the end of the season, not least because this ownership group is already on its third manager. Pochettino is priced at 11/2.
Erik ten Hag, available at 13/2, should also be able to hold on until the summer.
Manchester United are through to the FA Cup semi-finals and are also still involved in the race for a top-four finish.
Moyes And Howe Should Get Until Summer At Least
It increasingly feels like David Moyes and West Ham United will part ways before the start of next season.
The Scot has done a fantastic job in his second spell at the London Stadium, but the supporters are pining for a more attack-minded manager to replace the experienced Moyes.
The West Ham manager’s contract expires on June 30 and talks over a renewal appear to have stalled.
However, odds of 10/1 with new betting sites indicate that he is unlikely to be sacked.
Eddie Howe, listed at 14/1, is in a similar position. Given how well he did in his first full campaign at the helm, the Newcastle United boss probably has enough credit in the bank to remain in place at the beginning of 2024/25.
Frank, Dyche And Nuno Still Look Reasonably Secure
Thomas Frank will be concerned about Brentford’s record of 14 defeats in their last 18 games, with the Bees still looking over their shoulders at the bottom three.
However, the Dane is a long shot in this market at 18/1.
Everton have not won any of their last 11 matches in the Premier League, but sacking Sean Dyche (22/1) would probably increase their chances of relegation.
The former Burnley boss is safe for now.
So too is Nuno Espirito Santo (22/1), although he is probably a better pick if you fancy a long shot.
Nottingham Forest are now under huge pressure to avoid Premier League relegation after dropping to 18th place this week.
