As I conducted this BetOvo review, I found that there were 37 different types of sports and events to choose from, including eSports, horse racing, and specials. I was particularly impressed by the variety of niche sports like pesapallo, Gaelic hurling, surfing, and beach volleyball.

BetOvo offers odds on several hockey leagues, but it’s the NHL that attracts the most wagers. When you open the American Football tab from the sports menu, you will find both the NFL and CFL available to wager on. Now, I wasn’t thrilled with the limited CFL offerings. While the sportsbook covers every CFL game, the markets are generally limited to moneylines, spreads, and totals. You can’t even select alternative spreads and totals.
The NFL betting menus offer far more options, including the ability to alter spreads and totals. However, they still don’t quite stack up to what many other NFL betting sites offer. On the plus side, BetOvo’s odds margins for popular NFL bets often come in at under 5%, which is pretty good.
BetOvo NBA Betting
No matter what time of year it is, there seems to be some sort of basketball league or game to wager on. However, the basketball betting action hits its peak during the NBA season, and BetOvo gives bettors their fill. Every time you open an NBA betting menu, you will be presented with dozens of betting options.
Aside from the usual fare you'll find on most NBA betting sites, you can bet on a vast array of game, team, and player props. Choose between full-time results or break it down into halves or quarters. BetOvo also has a great range of future bets, like next year’s division winners, Rookie of the Year, MVP, and lots more.
BetOvo MLB Betting
I was very happy with the MLB betting options. The main game menu offers a comprehensive selection of betting options, including several Inning bets. However, I was most impressed by the variety of pitcher and batter props. You can bet on a pitcher to earn the win, go a certain number of innings, or be charged for a certain number of runs. Meanwhile, batter player props include hits, doubles, triples, dingers, and strikeouts.
As it is with the other sports on this list, BetOvo offers a full spectrum of future bets in the off-season. The average 5.26% odds margins on most spreads and totals aren’t too bad either among MLB betting sites.
Live Betting Options & Features
If there is some kind of sports competition going on, then you’ll likely find BetOvo have live odds on it. In addition to major events and leagues, BetOvo offers live odds on many niche sports like biathlon, hurling, water polo and cross-country running.
Live odds almost always come with higher odds margins than pre-match odds. However, the live odds at BetOvo are generally not out of line. I calculated the live odds margin for an obscure table tennis match, and it was just 6.57%, which I found to be surprisingly low. I was expecting to see it at 7% to 10%.
As you would expect, betting menus for small-market events can be pretty barren compared to their pre-game counterparts. Still, BetOvo’s small-market menus offer the basics and then some. However, live betting menus for mainstream events are a different story. They are usually loaded with options.
The lack of a live streaming service is the biggest downside to the live betting experience at BetOvo. The site does stream some events like eSports and virtual sports, but you won’t find live streams for more established sports.

BetOvo offers same-game parlays through its Bet Builder feature. When you open a game menu, you will see the Bet Builder tab at the top of the menu. Once you activate it, you can build your same-game parlay using the numerous available betting options.
